| The Texas Association for the Improvement of Reading (TAIR) was founded in 1948 as teachers worked to make the teaching of reading a priority in Texas. TAIR Reading Conferences are held across the state, bringing outstanding researchers, authors, and publishers to pre-service and local area teachers. The Denton Area TAIR Conference is made possible by the University of Noth Texas, Denton Independent School District, and the North Star of Texas Writing Project. Join us for a fun filled morning with Yvonne and David Freeman, well known teachers and researchers for their successful work with English Language Learners at all grade levels. Find out more about successful strategies and scaffolding instruction to support all the learners in your classroom. |
