Dorothy Kendall Bracken Fund for Special Projects
The Dorothy Kendall Bracken Fund for Special Projects awards grants to educators through each TAIR Conference across the state. Each Conference Award totals up to $1000 per year, although the criteria and the procedures vary according to local needs.
The purpose of this grant is to help a classroom teacher or researcher fund a special literacy project during the upcoming school year. Proposals are solicited by local Conference leaders so consult the Conference link for more details about the grant offered in your area. Typically, the grant recipient is asked to share the results of the project at the TAIR Conference the following year.
